Haiti Appeal Raises �2400

The Haiti appeal has raised over £1570 in St Peter’s and Clifton Pre-prep and around £800 at St Olave’s in just two weeks giving a grand total of almost £2400. St Olave’s raised significant sums from their Ainsty House rationing lunch and from a non uniform day.

Thank you to all who contributed and to the pupils who worked so hard to ensure all the events delivered as much as they could.

Nestle Visit and Marie Curie Cancer Care

Nestle have adopted Marie Curie Cancer Care as their charity of the year and were given the target of raising £6000.

As part of this initiative, Nestle contacted schools and offered ’chocolate making’ talks to schools and have been, so far, into about 15 schools.They have also made a giant 1.5kg Kit Kat!

Two members of The Innovation and Renovation Department came in to talk to Year 6 pupils and showed them how Kit Kats and Smarties are made. There were tastings and lots of questions and more importantly a cheque for £236.50 which is the money raised at St Olave’s for Marie Curie.
