Wanted to give you folks a quick update. I'm still in the process of packing things and tying up loose ends. My last day at my job is the 26th, and then I'm actually on the road and heading for New York on th 29th. I'm guessing I'll be home around the 4th or 5th of July. Not sure when I'll be able to start updating again, but I will keep you all in the know.

By the way, keep your fingers crossed for me. I have a phone interview for a web manager job on Thursday. I'm not expecting to get it, but I'm keeping my hopes up.

Take care, guys!

Okay, here's the deal, folks - I'm officially on hiatus. Please read my post in Bardic Musings so I don't have to repost it all here. Truly sorry this came on so suddenly, but it had to be done. I'll be popping in periodically to leave you with words of wisdom or whatever. Thanks for all of your support, folks.

Sorry guys, come back on Friday for an update.

Held over from Monday - All right folks, since I am moving in 3 weeks I'd like to be able to pack as little as possible. So this is my push to sell things from the Bardsworth store. To sweeten the deal, for the next 2 weeks ALL purchases of If You Give Me Cookies I'll Believe Anything will automatically be upgraded to Artist Editions. That's right, Artist Editions for only $20. In addition, all line art will be half price. Those are priced differently depending on certain factors, but most of the stuff in the last two years is normally priced at $40, which means only $20 for you. If interested in a particular strip, send an email to pete(at)bardsworth.com (with "Line Art" in the subject line) and let me know which one you're interested in. But you've only got 2 weeks!

Also, I know I don't have any new voting incentives up, but if you guys could all take 2 seconds just click on the voting button, that'll help me get back up in the rankings. In case you don't know, I use the toplist as a way of advertising, so it helps bring more readers to site.

Other than that, see you on Thursday!

Leave it to Mike to find the bright side.

Sorry about bailing on you folks last week. You got all the excuses then, so I won't repeat any of them. However, I will elaborate on one of them, which I wasn't able to talk about until now. I will be moving from my current home in Southern California to Upstate New York at the end of this month. The catch is that since Katie is North Carolina for the summer, I'll be doing it by myself. So due to packing and the like, there may be interrupted updates. And of course, as I'm making my way across the the country at the end of June, the comic will be put on hold. So there you go.

Now, in order to help me lighten my load, I will doing some sales in the Bardsworth store. I hope to have those active later this week. So keep your eyes open.

And that's all for now. See you on Thursday (hopefully).

You long time readers know what the filler art means. For the rest of you, it means no strip today. Excuses? Yeah, I got 'em. A.) work has been the craziest it ever has been, B.) I'm sick with a cold/flu thing, C.) Katie just got on a plane to North Carolina tonight and I'll be without her for the summer, and D.) the thing that I can't talk about until next week. So I'm not just playing hooky, I swear.

I'd type more, but my head feels like it's stuffed with dry cotton (although fluids keep leaking out it somehow). See you next week, folks.

Bardsworth Update

?!

I can't believe I was so much of an idiot that I forgot to post about this, but better late than never, right? When I was at ConDor back in February, I met a cool dude by the name of Mike Hungerford, whose specialty is creating paper models. Well, he became a reader a reader of Bardsworth and decided that he wanted to create a Bardsworth University paper model. You can see a picture of the completed model and download the instructions to do it yourself here. Hopefully Mike doesn't hate me for not mentioning it sooner, but he seems like a forgiving guy (right, Mike???).

And here's a heads-up for you all. I've got some huge things going on in my life right now. I can't quite talk about them here just yet, but they will definitely affect my updates. So you will probably be seeing some colorless updates, maybe some missed updates, and very probable hiatus in the not-so-distant future. I will give you more details when I can.

Other than that, see you on Thursday.

He's been holding that in check for quite a while.

Sorry about no color. My day job has been BEYOND CRAZY this week, and it's going to get worse next week. So be prepared for a few days of no color. But hey, at least I'm a part of an organization that's helping the economy. That still doesn't help my blood pressure or mental health, though...

And I know it's been a long time since I've done an Ask the Author. I have a few questions ready to answer, but again, my time is almost nil at this point. Stay tuned, though - I'll get to it eventually.

Have a good weekend, folks.

A little look into Keira's past for y'all.

I've got a voting incentive for you, too. I received a lovely bit of fan art from a reader and fellow webcomic artist who goes by the handle of Alicorn. Check out the fan art by voting for me, and check out her (I'm assuming you're a "her", Alicorn, so I apologize if I'm wrong) webcomic, Hi to Tsuki to Hoshi no Tama, and fiction writing, Elcenia.

That's all for now. See you on Thursday!

I wonder who would win a bake-off - Keira's mom or Francis?

Phew, got this one done, although now I'm destined for a maximum of 4 hours of sleep before getting up for work. The things I do for you loyal readers.

It's been a fairly newsless week, folks. And I know I'm behind on the Ask the Author questions, but please keep them coming. I will try my hardest to get to the next one next week.

The secret of bard energy has been divulged. Just imagine the havoc they could wreak if they got their hands on some Red Bull.

Yeah, another uncolored strip. Sorry. It was a full weekend that I really needed. Things have been crazy at my full-time job, and they're bound to get worse. But I'll do my best to try to stay on top of things.

Check back later for the colors and I'll definitely see you on Thursday.

Sorry folks, the filler strip says it all - life got in the way this week and I was unable to complete Thursday's strip. I will have it up for you Friday, even if it's uncolored, but I'm betting it'll be all done.

Mysterious shiny.

Well, since Topwebcomics reset itself and I'm no longer in the top 100, we have a voting incentive! One of the people on my deviantART watch list did this and I wanted to try it, so I did a 25 Expression Challenge for Fawn. You can see Fawn making 25 different expressions just by clicking the vote button!

I'm giving you guys a heads up on this. I think I'm going to shut down the Bardsworth MySpace page soon. I have never really liked MySpace, and I've come to like Facebook much more. So if you'd like to be a part of a Bardsworth social networking page, make your way to the Bardsworth group on Facebook. Also, I'm throwing this out there because I believe in being a part of my readers lives, my personal Facebook page is here. But PLEEEEEASE do not bombard me with silly applications and quizzes and stuff. Unless it's something really neat, I'll ignore it.

And that's all. See you on Thursday!
