main thing is, i found something very interesting..

it is interesting as the statement explains the meaning of the word and also the chinese character itself. looking carefully, you'll realise tt the strokes with turns DO meet each other

I've not been blogging for very long, so I'll firstly put up a few links of a recent event: Robogals' Guiness World Record attempt - Largest Robot dance!!

Around 351 people came to do a robot dance for 5 minutes and that's how we broke the previous record of 267 people..haha.not much difference but a record broken nonetheless. Here are some links of videos taken during the event..

so other than doing all these robot stuffs, I also went to this Star Wars exhibition in Scienceworks in Melbourne..quite cool with all the explanation on how they made the stuffs and REAL props they used in the movies..

something amazing happened yesterday afternoon....story goes like this..

it was a hot n tiring day..the 2 things on my mind while walking home was:
1. change in shorts ASAP
2. SLEEP! woots~!
after i changed into shorts n was in bed, i felt it was still too hot..so i opened all windows(there's only one actually) and pull down the curtains n slept without shorts (HAHA)

anw, the amazing part is this..even though i dun remember waking up in the middle of my nap, i found myself wearing long pants over shorts n covering myself with a blanket!

i have no recollection of doing anything at all!!haha..is it the subconcious mind working here or wat..or maybe juz the instinct to keep myself warm? one more thing...as i am quite particular about wearing stuff the right way round, ie label is at the back..both pants were on correctly!!haha...weird huh?

anyway..bia-ing assignment now n suddenly had some weird motivation to blog so here i am!!haha

with 2 more weeks till exams n all final assignments due this week or next..it's gonna be fun..lol

during the past weeks of mugging and assignment-ing, i came across this author, the very amazing, Heather Graham aka Shannon Drake.

she usually writes about paranormal stuff like vampires, ghosts n stuff..the most recent one i read is a book called the dead room.
This book talks about an archaeologist, Leslie, who sees spirits after an 'accident' tt killed her fiancee, Matt. altho the evidences all point to the fact tt it was an accident, she believes it to be a planned murder. a year after the accident, she went back to stay at the place Matt got killed, hoping tt Matt's spirit would assist her in finding out the truth.
quite a nice read for those in favour of mysteries n crime.

another one of my 'obsessions' is rolled oats!haha..aside for being healthy, it is also amazingly delicious.for those who never tried, this is a new recipe for a healthy breakfast!
1. Soak rolled oats in apple juice overnight in the fridge(or at least for 1 hour). this makes the oats soft n nice..soak with slivered almonds and sunflower seeds if so desired.
2. When ready to serve, mix with yoghurt, fruits, lemon juice and honey..altho i usually only use fruit yoghurts, eg strawberry yoghurt, mango yoghurt etc.

this week was quite a fruitful week as i completed a lot of work n made some nice C programmes..however, the 2 new assignments still worries me a bit..the maths assignment which is due thurs is still sitting on the table..i'll get to it soon.... :D
the other one is for engineering computation..after reading thru the project, which is quite challenging, i feel tt it'll take another few nights to get the programme together..thankfully it's due next monday, so i've got a bit more time to mess ard with it..
