Ito Let's Go Pt 5 // Hiatus

Y'know, this is the second time I've stopped a comic in not a very serious manner. I should be more sincere about ending something like this. :/

Anyway, yes this is it as far as Deathchord is concerned. After thinking for a while I decided that this comic isn't really going anywhere, mostly in terms of success or readership than stories: I have enough ideas, but I think they'll be wasted here. This is not to say that readership is the biggest factor for me to make comics: I've been making 'em for years now with not many followers, and iit hasn't fazed me as I've had enough fun making stupid tales up for myself and also improving my art and writing abilities as I go to bothered about that stuff. But to just carry on like this in complete obscurity for eternity is just dumb. This is completely down to my horrendous abilities at self-promotion - I mostly do self-demotion - which leave me nowhere. I've had fun with it though, so unlike Thine appellation (previous comic, embarasses me endlessly) this comic will stay up on the internet.

So no more comics? Ever?! No, I will be making comics still. With a new cast and a new setting, something more refined from the get-go rather than the shambles that this one begins with (even though it was intentional). It won't appear for a while but it will be coming, eventually. When it does appear, I'll be sure to announce it here and place a prominent link to it.

That's about it I think. Thanks for reading, and hopefully you'll come to read my new comic when it appears. See you next time webcowboy...

Back to comics for real, no more secretive stuffs. Almost didn't make it in time.

Can I say how happy I am with panel no.4 of Taflyn? She actually looks like a lady in that panel for the first time in forever. Not sure about the hair: I'll have to settle into it.

Funnily enough, I've just had my hair done too. I had a Peacockhawk cut, where the big sticky-up row of hair is done from ear to ear, over the top of the head like some sort of plumage. I look the absolute tits, I tell you.

Yes, new comic! And for once I decided to let (heh) the name of the update be relevant to what it contains. This is a new dawn and we should be honoured to welcome it.

I'm gonna be advertising this comic soon in various places, so keep an eye out for dodgy images and strange strings of text at some other locations! I'm not good with doing serious adverts, it's gotta be stupid all the way.
