In case this flashback/recap inspires you to go back and read through the archives... wait! I'm in the middle of putting together dedicated chapter webpages, each of which will feature all 32 of the pages from their respective parts. While these pages will be a bit heavy (about 4MB) I figure it will be much easier to let the page load and then read through an entire chapter without having to click next for each page. Hopefully that will all be ready for next week!

Ever notice how in fiction (even purportedly 'real time' stuff like 24) interesting things happen at just the right moment? I know it helps the dramatic flow, but done too often it starts to annoy me as the coincidences start to mount up. And so, Dante and Jaguar will just have to wait.

The issue of paradoxes is never far away when you mess around with time! Here Jaguar makes explicit what has been implicit since the comic began almost exactly 4 years ago. On that subject, 4 year anniversary of DMD, woo!

Meanwhile, I've started playing Slime Forest again in order to learn katakana well enough that I can read the untranslated sound effects in Nausicaa. I recommend giving it a try.

That's right, the 'evil crimson cosmos ginger processing plant'! The camouflage outfit Ulala reportedly wore for that mission is I think my favourite outfit in Space Channel 5 part 2. As for plot developments... I'm saying nothing!

This encounter is pretty much just as mysterious in the original DMC. I like that I can put the bafflement I felt at the time into Ulala's reaction here, as in the game Dante just seems to carry on as if this sort of thing is always happening to him. Which, to be fair, it probably is.
