We at Drayton Manor Net have now got the NEW 2007 park map . It is presented as a leaflet as usual and the first pages advertise The Bounty. It says "All aboard for a fantastic seafaring experience in this massive vessel that swings you high above the water for the ride of your life!" and on the map itself The Bounty is placed on the lake oppisite the games booths as it is located in Fisherman's Wharf. Other excting news is that below the title of Robinson's Land says "Watch this area for some big news in 2008" so it is possible that it may get a retheme so stay with us on that topic. At the very end of the leaflet (not the back cover) it hs a voucher that you can cut out that entitles you to 20% discount when you buy 4 tickets but it applies to Adult (12+) & Child (4-11) tickets and 1 Adult ticket must be purchased. On another important note the map says the Hotel will be completed by 2009. Disappointing as they have been raising the completion date up one year, but a least we know which year to expect the Hotel. There you have for it now, but in a few months we will have a review for The Bounty and keep you imformed about the developtments of the Hotel and the Robinsons Land news!

This information, suggests that the new ride for Drayton Manor 2007 may not necessarily be called 'The Bounty.' But this can't be confirmed until the release of the 2007 park map or official statements.

DMNet recieve '07 brochure and Pirate Ship officially named The Bounty + its official tagline 12/1/07

Today, the 2007 brochure arrived and appeared as a poster. It had the usual like advertising the main rides and contact info and prices and offers. But most exciting part was it confirmed the Pirate Ship and its name as The Bounty. The words to describe said : 'New for 2007- The Bounty- all aboard for a fantastic seafaring adventure!' There was teaser image of the ride as a modern well themed Pirate Ship and behind it was trees. So it points the question where will The Bounty be located? In the lake as the words say 'seafaring' or will it replace the Big Wheel or be in Pirate Cove? We won't know until the 2007 Park Map is released so expect more news on The Bounty soon.

Confirmed: Pirate Ship to be the new ride for 2007

According to an RCCGB interview with Colin Bryan (MD of Drayton Manor) he says that a Pirate Ship ride will return for the Easter 2007 season. He also says it will be "the Bounty from Intamin". This confirms the Pirate Ship is from Intamin and maybe named Bounty after its ride type similar to that with the naming of Drunken Barrels. Speculation suggests the ride may be located on the lake.

This confirms the rumours of the Raging Waves ride and Dark are false. The new ride this season is a Intamin Pirate Ship. More on this as we get it.
