FIE Continental Training Program for Foil Coaches

The FCC is accepting applications for the FIE Fencing Masters Certificate Course being held in San Salvador from July 5 to August 8, 2010. Applicants are to follow the application process and send applications to: fcc@fencing.ca. Please note, the applicant chosen for this course is responsible for 50% of the travel cost to San Salvador. Application deadline: May 26th, 2010.

Fencing Coaches of Canada presents the following Coach Sessions at CSC #2 / Senior Nationals in Ottawa:

Friday, November 27th, 5:00 pm (estimated time) in the gym: Maitre Jean-Marie Banos presents "A practical session for the beginner fencer, introduction to fencing skills through games" (Athletes are welcome to participate);
Saturday, November 28th, 5:00 pm (estimated time) in classroom: Maitre Gilbert Gelinas presents "Club development - His Way!"

The FIE is offering a Continental training program for coaches. The objective is to significantly increase the number and quality of Masters of Arms on every continent. During the 2009-2010 season, the FIE will organize courses of 2 months in length in each of the three weapons. >>more
