One more piece of robot-themed guest art from Parables, featuring Shopbot, and Nunsuch. The art is cool and I again thank Parables, but be aware the artist created this using what is seen of the characters in the strip, not from a description by me. So don't take anything you see above as canon, particularly in the case of Nunsuch.
Back to the SubShaft 44f guys next week, unless I get more guest art.

Over on the Comic Genesis forums, a newcomer going by the name Parables put out a call for robots to use as background characters in his(?) upcoming 3D computer-generated strip. I volunteered Hector, and Parables created the above scene. Pretty cool. Parables' actual comic isn't online yet, but I'll add a link to it when it begins. The luckless robot to whom Hector is venting is Metabot, from VinnieD's AntiBunny.

Yes, along with all the other Ichyoids, it's an intentional homage, but for the record, the Great Riddler is NOT You-Know-Who. YKW is much bigger and, in every sense of the word, much much uglier.

As I may or may not have said before, Roland/Jim Lowery/North of G for Genesis originally created Great-Great Uncle Hindenburgh in a guest strip, and he fit so well into the backstory I officially incorporated him. So, thanks again to R/J L/N.

You may note that Fern and the Djinnoscope look different here. As I've probably said before, despite its location in the story, the Hall of Achievement segment is, in real-world terms, the oldest in the archive; when I moved to Keenspace/ComicGen back in 2003, I rebooted and redid all the strips that came before the HoA. As such, it now sucks the worst. If and when the main action returns to the HoA.. while the Hall's contents and basic nature will not change, they will have undergone a serious artistic overhaul.
