Which is great, at least from my perspective. Because I have noticed that my doggy Lisen has slowed down quite a bit in speed and activity interests as the temperature has risen. So she has been quite calm and sleepy during this week, during day time that is. In the evenings Lisen is back to her 12 year "old" self again. Which is nice to see. It isn't all about the drive itself, though, because there are just so many things to see and experience along the way. Personally, I think stopping at some of the route's best restaurants is one of the absolute highlights of this kind of trip - and I'm sure keen foodies will agree with me! Lisen and I spent this Saturday in my mum's garden helping out with some garden chores, which was really nice. We finished off the day's work with a great barbecue, my first of this year - yum!
