I've had this mostly done since December, but I got distracted by a couple things.

It seems that I made six games since the last time I posted a comic here. You can check most of them out at stttutter.com. My most recent is Pile of Kittens, which I've only released a Flash contest version of so far.

I'm not used to the workflow of art any more. Even in my games, it's the most unbounded, wandering time for me. It's a lot easier to burn time and motivation when hours of work can result in something totally fugs. I did score 307 in the iOS version of Super Crate Box while trying to work on this comic, though. So, uh, there's an accomplishment.

My wife rode a bike from Tempe to Tucson yesterday. That's 120 miles. I managed to make a box of Cheez-Its last more than two nights, which is about as impressive.

It's been... a while, so you may need to freshen up on Moo's plans. These comics should be enough. I'm excited for this story line, but I can't promise my updates will be any more frequent than in the past. I've been wrong about that a lot.

This page will take longer to download than usual. I felt the detail was a bit much for jpg and finally pumped it up to png, like everyone else did ten years ago. My bad.

I definitely had to drop and reimport a table in the site's database to reset my password and post this comic. I feel accomplished and pathetic. I suspect this particular medley of emotion is the hallmark of a human existence.

I want to make a game and I want to draw a comic. I continually fail to do both, and they're depressingly trivial endeavors. Shame is merely ambition seeing himself. Unless ambition happens to be gorgeous.

The last frame may be embarrassing. Then again, it might be hilarious. Probably not. Oh well. You go, zebra dad. You go.

Hopefully I'll post another comic in less than half a year. I'm pretty close to 200, after all. Round numbers, etc. This crap has been keeping me pretty busy, though.

Writing is nice; it gave me delightfully aspirational illusions of clarity and coherent thought. I miss thinking I could think.

This style was pretty quick once I committed to it and buckled down. There are hours that I lost track of; I'm not sure what to blame it on. Internets may have been involved. This comic is brought to you, mostly, by this and this.

I'm 25 now. Them's some serious numbers. The years slough off me as I shimmer in the mesosphere, flaring briefly before reentry. The air roars. I just want to make a crater.

I wish that the other crafts I did felt like I was outputting a significant chunk of self each time I did them, but that's simply not the case. Making a game? Code, code, art assets, get a prototype going, and maybe a year later I'll get to speak, tell a story, but probably not, 'cause this thing be multiplayer.

The art's a blast to do, but the repetition, the extremely high ratio of things drawn to appended meaning, it leaves me behind.

The PNG for this comic was 2 megs. I'm bleary-eyed enough to think that the JPG compression is unnoticeable with my leet settings; howl if you'd rather have the PNG.

I drew this comic in ArtRage. It's pretty nice, but there's an obvious detail hit and it seems to make these things incredibly slow to produce. Your thoughts'd be appreciated, two dudes that still read this.

I suppose it's a bit lame to make comics out of our conversations verbatim, but hopefully you are amused. I do not quite plan for this to become a journal comic in entirety, but I cannot ignore how much of the creativity and humor in my life happens in the presence of my lady if I have any hope of keeping this beast of lines and words bumbling along.

This was supposed to be a faster style to draw. It was not. I will likely further streamline things for the next comic, as I would like there to be a next comic, but I've also got other things in the pipe.
