My internet connection is impressively good at cutting out the instant I finish a comic. It's also very good at cutting out in general; I suppose I shouldn't be too impressed.

Angie is in Norway for two months. Rough times. I'll be voyaging out there myself for a bit after that. I hope to get more extra comic time than extra screw-around-and-play-video-games time during these intervening weeks, but as I wholly expect to fall into some glacial crevasse in Norway and be eaten by voracious ice crabs, I may be a bit more carefree than I ought.

Unity 3D has been, and likely will be, dominating much of my free time. It is truly impressive stuff. Know how to code? Want to make a game without spending all of your time writing the engine? Ding.

Time cops is almost done! I like to think things will update faster when I have to draw less than a billenty frames for each comic. That said, this still took at least four times as long as it should have. Time is far more silent in its passing than I remember; a blink and a month, a laugh and a year. Unfortunately it still makes strangers of old friends and stills the fires of ambition . Time, my constant foe, has become a ninja. It stealthily sprints past, hidden by the shade of mundanity and repetition.

I saw Adventureland this weekend, and it is excellent. Not laugh-out-loud funny as it's advertised, but deeply hilarious and honest with some stellar character development. Good stuff.

You should see Cat Slayer.

My lady and I set a date, so I plan to draw something for invites, etc. That probably means no comic this week, either. I've been trying to type something that would express my excitement at the matter but I'm really far too tired to get such sentiments across well in the first place.

Just imagine a lolcat riding an invisible bicycle, high fiving another lolcat doing the same. That's about where I am right now. I'm sick, but it's a good day. A very good day.

It's been a while since the last Time Cops comic.

This storyline is like torture for me. I'm excited about where the script is going, but man alive drawing the same three dudes ten frames in a row ain't my thing. I'm more of a draw one pretty frame with lots of words and go home kind of guy. I want to finish this pretty badly, though. I've been working on other things a lot lately, so I can't promise speediness. It won't be hard to finish a new page faster than this one, though. I plan to finish the next script today.

I saw a mysteriously phallic painted-over bit of graffiti on the way back from work. Unfortunately, what was underneath that paint was most likely just a giant wiener. I find this idea much more amusing.

Have I told you that Dresden Codak is back, and the comic's got some truly impressive artwork? Now I have.
