<title>16 Jul 2010: Reakgona Opens Chemical Plant</title>
<link>http://www.saibl.co.za/news.php</link>
<description>Reakgona Commercial and Industrial Hygiene is a 100% BEE Company, jointly owned and managed by Isaac and Nancy Modiselle. The company's core business is the supply of hygiene services, pest control, indoor plants, cleaning, fire fighting equipment and cleaning consumables. Established in 2000, the company has its head office in Pretoria with a provincial head office in Bloemfontein that services the Free State, as well as five branches in Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Northern and Eastern Cape. In order to expand its operations based on the successful business development and exploitation opportunities available in the cleaning and hygiene services industry, Reakgona approached saibl for advice and guidance. A Company Diagnosis identified some areas for improvement and recommended that the company should have a backward linkage process in order to supply own chemicals that would contain or reduce cleaning costs. Based on this recommendation by saibl, a Chemical plant for Reakgona t/a Tshiamo has been set up and is now operational. The plant is producing over 75% of the company's chemical requirements. These chemicals have all been SABS approved. </description>
