It is with regret that I share the news of the death of a true friend of Saskatchewan wrestling. Bruce Pearce, principal of Campbell Collegiate and former wrestling coach, died in a motorcycle accident on July 8, 2010. Leader-Post articles | Obituary

Gil Wist to be inducted into Saskatoon Sports Hall of Fame

The board of directors of the Saskatoon Sports Hall of Fame recently announced Gil Wist as one of the five athletes, along with five builders and one team, all of whom will be inducted into the hall during the induction ceremonies at TCU Place on Saturday, Nov. 6. >>more

2011 Olympic Trials
SAWA Clubs are invited to submit bids to host the 2011 Olympic Trials. Bids are due to the SAWA office by NOON, June 10, 2010 and must be submitted by completing the necessary CAWA documentation.
2013 Cadet & Juvenile National Championships
Saskatchewan is eligible to bid to host the 2013 Cadet & Juvenile National Championships. SAWA Clubs are invited to submit bids to host this event to the SAWA Board of Directors by submitting the necessary documentation specified in the CAWA Policy Manual and the bid fee of $200 to the SAWA office by NOON, June 10, 2010. Contact the SAWA office if you have any questions.
