I was really hoping I'd have the comic done by now! I'm almost done drawing it (no shading yet), but I'm going to be busy from now until a week from now since a friend of mine is visiting and will be here shortly. I'll try to have SOMETHING up by Friday. The comic for next Wednesday probably won't happen on Wednesday, either, but it never does lately so I don't know why I'm telling you that. I should say it updates once a week at some magical time that just happens, because that's kind of how I roll, apparently.

This comic looks weird to me, but being in a codeine fog will make everything look a little weird. It will also make you fall asleep at completely random times! Unfortunately I need it to eat (I'm still trying not to die after having my tonsils out). I did actually manage to leave my house today, though, which is something.

In less boring news, Side B is now in stores for reals, so if you want a copy, go find one and buy it!

Also, Chesh is having a contest on her site, Queerics, a source for more alternative LGBT-themed song lyrics! Included with the prizes is some custom art by yours truly, so go check it out.

Soooo this was supposed to go up on Wednesday. Then the power went out! Then I had to get my tonsils taken out and today is slightly less awful. I ended up finishing this on the computer because it was easier on my neck.

Ok so there was going to be a comic this week and then my brain died from the worst art block ever. I have been trying to come up with stuff all week and nothing has happened. Forcing myself to draw results in things that are just painful to look at, let alone read, so... well, I'll probably post something tomorrow or Friday but it might not be a comic. And if it is, it might not be good. BE PREPARED FOR AWFUL. Exciting!

This is actually the second comic I drew for this week. The first one... well, I don't want to talk about that one. It was pretty terrible. I don't have a whole lot to say about this strip. It's a bit of commentary on something that happened at my now former place of employment. Of course, they still owe me a month-and-then-some's worth of pay, so the horror isn't quite over yet. Anyway, now that I'm done with class for a few months, I have a ridiculous amount of time to draw Sconeborough! And, you know, get a real job.

I realized this week that Monday is the last issue of The Current for this semester (for anyone who doesn't know, Sconeborough gets printed in my college paper). I'm not going to be working there next semester or ever again, probably, after all of the horrible things that have happened with them this year, things which continue to happen for no reason other than to piss me off, I guess. Anyway, I'm drawing a... very special comic for the occasion. I may or may not post it since it isn't really funny and probably won't make any sense to all but a handful of people. This means I don't actually have a comic for this week, though I may have two next week if I decide to post the one I'm working on now. Who knows. So... yeah! Have a photo of my comic in the Side B anthology:

So all you have to do is go to your local comic book shop between April 1st to April 30th and ask for the to order Side B: The Music Lover's Comic Anthology by Poseur Ink!

There is also a flier you can print out to take with you! My story is about an opera singer who finds a tiny cat (because I can't write about anything other than cats, obviously). It also rhymes, which is either wonderful or awful depending on how much you like rhyming.

God, it really is. Okay, so next week should be a return to regular Sconeborough with (hopefully) pretty art and not random stories about cats that I got bored with halfway through!
