IT'S HALLOWEEN HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND STUFF. I don't have any comics, but here's some art. The first one was meant to be in color, but at the rate I was going with it, I wouldn't be done until Christmas or something, and then I'd be better off just drawing a new thing. If anyone else wants to take a stab at it, send me an e-mail and I'll send you the super giant version! The second drawing is just some sketches of everyone in costume (Kylie is a dead victorian, Nicky is a suave vampire, Elsie is Isaac Asimov, and Jaime is Batgirl).

Sorry about the lack of updates otherwise. College is trying to kill me. I think I signed up for too many studio classes at once, and they're all sort of ganging up on me and trying to steal what little free time I have left. Next semester (my last one, thank god) should be less awful. Then I can draw comics again! And when I graduate, I'll have all the time in the world to draw comics because I won't have a real job! Awesome.

I AM SO SORRY this is so terrible but it had to be done, because Melissa wanted it to happen. I don't even know.

I got some not so good news regarding the fate of ol' Sconeborough here. It's about time for me to start my final year of college (hopefully, unless I decide to stay in school even longer. I might be crazy!). In addition to classwork, I'm also going to be working on a book with a friend of mine. Since I no longer work for the paper, I'm not obligated (read: not being paid) to draw Sconeborough unless I have time, and I might not have time! I'm not going to say I'm done with Sconeborough yet, because abandoning the comic seems kind of awful, but updates definitely won't come as often as they used to. If I end up doing anything else worth sharing in the meantime, I'll let you guys know!

I didn't have a comic for you guys today, unfortunately, but I do have a very special movie instead. It is a short film titled Blasphemous Rumors starring Jeff Goldblum, The Doctor, a cylon, Rupert the gnome, Captain Barbossa, and Hans, with special guest appearances by Betsy the octopus and Toby as the lion. There is also a short outtakes video called Blasphemous Bloopers located here. Yes, we know this is retarded as hell and no, none of us have any shame. Hopefully it amuses someone besides us!

Continuing with Shark Boy! Next week's comic will be the last in the series. As for why the comic was so late, my two favorite fish died this week, a black ghost knifefish and killifish, which sounds so lame, but fish are awful pets to have when you have a tendency to get very attached to things very quickly. There are so many horrible ways for them to die (committing suicide by jumping, for example), and they're so fragile and tiny. I spent most of the week trying to figure out what the hell happened to my fish tank and then spent yesterday driving around to get another killifish since none of the stores near me sell them. Fish are hard! But for some reason I love them.

There will be a comic later this week, probably Friday if not tomorrow night. I've been doing unrelated work and just haven't the time (or the drive, really) to finish anything Sconeborough-related lately. But shark boy must continue!

I was really hoping I'd have the comic done by now! I'm almost done drawing it (no shading yet), but I'm going to be busy from now until a week from now since a friend of mine is visiting and will be here shortly. I'll try to have SOMETHING up by Friday. The comic for next Wednesday probably won't happen on Wednesday, either, but it never does lately so I don't know why I'm telling you that. I should say it updates once a week at some magical time that just happens, because that's kind of how I roll, apparently.

This comic looks weird to me, but being in a codeine fog will make everything look a little weird. It will also make you fall asleep at completely random times! Unfortunately I need it to eat (I'm still trying not to die after having my tonsils out). I did actually manage to leave my house today, though, which is something.

In less boring news, Side B is now in stores for reals, so if you want a copy, go find one and buy it!

Also, Chesh is having a contest on her site, Queerics, a source for more alternative LGBT-themed song lyrics! Included with the prizes is some custom art by yours truly, so go check it out.

Soooo this was supposed to go up on Wednesday. Then the power went out! Then I had to get my tonsils taken out and today is slightly less awful. I ended up finishing this on the computer because it was easier on my neck.

Ok so there was going to be a comic this week and then my brain died from the worst art block ever. I have been trying to come up with stuff all week and nothing has happened. Forcing myself to draw results in things that are just painful to look at, let alone read, so... well, I'll probably post something tomorrow or Friday but it might not be a comic. And if it is, it might not be good. BE PREPARED FOR AWFUL. Exciting!
